2003 Projects

These are the projects that we did in the year 2003. The projects are categorized by the year that we started the contract. If you are looking for a project that you thought might have been done in this year, check the year before and it could have been started then. A lot of our projects can last for more than a year and we also start projects towards the end of the year and they do carry over. Enjoy the projects descriptions and pictures. Since this is a new website we are still continuing to add pictures from past projects. So if a project you are looking for doesn't have any pictures come back later to see if they have been added. Cowetta Weirs Location: Otto, North Carolina September 2003 - December 2003 Project Description:
The Coweeta Weir Project is to replace small concrete dams that were built by the CCC during the late 30's. The concrete has deteriorated as the result of years of freeze thaw cycles and the natural acidity ...... -more-
Top Drive Overlook North Mountain Location: Goshen, Virginia June 2003 - August 2003 Project Description:
It is the construction of a 66 foot stonewall for an overlook on the Highlands Scenic Tour in the George Washington/Jefferson National Forest. After the wall is constructed crushed stone will be put in as a base making it handicapped accessible to view the overlook. -more-
