2019 Projects

These are the projects that we did in the year 2019. The projects are categorized by the year that we started the contract. If you are looking for a project that you thought might have been done in this year, check the year before and it could have been started then. A lot of our projects can last for more than a year and we also start projects towards the end of the year and they do carry over. Enjoy the projects descriptions and pictures. Since this is a new website we are still continuing to add pictures from past projects once we have scanned them to add them to the site. So if a project you are looking for doesn't have any pictures come back later to see if they have been added. Kincora Nature Trail and Birding Platform Location: Kincora Village, Sterling Virginia January 2019 to March 2019 Project Description:
This was the construction of about 1 mile of nature trail in a wetland with puncheon walkway and a birding platform. -more-
Rockingham County Community College Mechanized Trail Building Location:  Rockingham County North Carolina April 2019 Project Description:
This was an introduction to Mechanized Trail Building class sponsored by Rockingham County Community College. -more-
Pomeroy Stone Wall Repair Location:  Pomeroy Ohio  April 2019 Project Description:
This project was for the reconstruction of a stone wall that was originally built in 1940 and had substantial flood damage.   -more-
Canaan Valley Bike Trail Location:  Davis West Virginia Canaan Valley State Park May 2019 to November 2019 Project Description:
This project is for the construction of almost 35,000 linear feet of new bike trail and the reconstruction of almost 5,000 linear feet of existing trail to make it more sustainable and useful for many years in the future.  This project included the installation of 5 stream crossing decks. -more-
Oglebay Institute Platform Repair Location:  Wheeling, WV November 2019 Project Description:
This project was for the repair of a viewing platform that was a hazard to hikers.  The deck had to be repaired and a new set of box crib steps was constructed. -more-
