Roaring Run Bridge

Project Description:
It is the construction of a 50 foot glu lam
bridge in the George
Washington/Jefferson National Forest. Roaring Run Furnace is a 19th
century iron furnace on National Register of Historic Places. This
bridge will allow for easier access to the Iron Furnace.
Construction included the bridge, a 20 foot long ramp, a 50
foot
long gravel filled crib and about 300 linear feet of edged walkway
filled with gravel.
