2006 Projects

These are the projects that we did in the year 2006. The projects are categorized by the year that we started the contract. If you are looking for a project that you thought might have been done in this year, check the year before and it could have been started then. A lot of our projects can last for more than a year and we also start projects towards the end of the year and they do carry over. Enjoy the projects descriptions and pictures. Since this is a new website we are still continuing to add pictures from past projects once we have scanned them to add them to the site. So if a project you are looking for doesn't have any pictures come back later to see if they have been added. Long Mountain Trail Bridge Hardy County , WV September 2006 - November 2006 Project Description:
This Project was for the construction of a pre-fabricated steel bridge and approach trails on the Long Mountain Trail.  This project was ADA compliant. -more-
Green Parking Lot at Peggy Hahn Garden Pavilion Location: Virginia Tech,  Blacksburg VA Project Description:
This project was for the construction of a gravel parking lot with wood wheel stops that captured all the water runoff and channeled it into a center pond for plants.   -more-
Little Cabell Creek Bridge     Location: Ona WV Project Description:
This bridge was constructed on the Kanawha Trace hiking trail at the 5 mile marker to cross Little Cabell Creek.  This project was funded from a RTP  grant from the state of West Virginia. -more-
Ice Damage Repair at Cascades Recreation Area Location: Giles County, Virginia Project Description:
This is an ongoing project that we do ever couple years to repair ice damage to the handrails to the upper bridges at Cascades Recreation Area.   -more-
