Fenwick Mines Observation Deck

Location: George Washington and Jefferson National Forest, Virginia

Project Description:

The deck was built to provide a safe place to observe a small waterfall on the loop trail running from the picnic area to the interpretive sites discussing the early Iron Industry as located at Fenwick Mines. The deck was designed by Sheryl Lyles and incorporates the new wire mesh 4" opening rail system.
